Invalid Session -- Please Resubmit

OK, every few posts, even if nothing else like another thread on another tab is loading, I submit a routine post and get the "Invalid Session -- Please Resubmit the Form" screen. I resubmit only by clicking the "Submit" button, and everything's fine.

No "quick in succession" posts, no posts of just smileys, no code, no pictures, attachments or anything else -- just text on a single post to a single thread.

I had just completed clearing cookies, dumping trash, etc., so there is nothing that I know of that could have gotten in the way.

Follow up Edit: in starting this thread, it did the same thing.

Why?

Ordinarily, that would be the case. But this afternoon I stopped by the office on the way home from church to do a few things, and actually posted this thread from a PC, not a Mac.

Edit: at home this evening, on my Mac, I am not having the problem.

So, again, why?

I wrote a too-long post about our gig in Linden, Texas opening for Richard Bowden and it disappeared forever and asked for me to log in again.
I wrote a shorter version the next day and it went thrugh but was later deleted.
I guess us bar room tuba playuz are not relevant to the general membership interest. That's o.k., we had fun, anyway.
