Topics Read

The old format automatically noted 'new posts' (I think) after I opened the topic and closed it. I notice that I can mark 'topics read' on individual pages but is there a way I can mark 'everything read' so the next time I visit (which is often) I only see the additions?

If you look on the right side of the page below the advanced search link and the "last date visited" note, there is a link that says "Mark forums read." I hope that's what you're looking for.

When the software first switched over, I didn't like this change - I felt like it was requiring me to manually do what the previous software did automatically.

That lasted about a week. I like the new way much better now.

Yep, just go back to the main index and in the upper right corner hit "Mark Forums Read".

I know you knew that already.
You were just testing the rest of us, right?

Nope. I looked for a way to mark the whole forum at one time but only saw (blind, I guess) the item on the individual topic pages. Like I said.... duh!
