When posting, any clue why many links show up with " target=" at the end of them?

I'll take this one...people are pasting in web addresses without using the "[ url ]" tags around them. Thus,
http://www.chisham.com
looks fine when surrounded by tags, but like this:
http://www.chisham.com" target="_blank" target="_blank"
when it isn't.
