I found to my cost that if you change your account email and then for some reason do not confirm new address by clicking link in confirmation email, after a while (one month?) the account is deleted. All the posts remain, but the poster is then shown as "Guest".

A PM to Sean (Woodsheddin) should handle it or just don't log in any more and eventually, your account will go away.

Looks like his request was granted...sure makes the threads he started/posted in look funny.

This request for deletion is very interesting. Another forum I go to had a policy that permanent bans could be given at request, but that forum has since abolished that policy. Very, very interesting.

Very strange without the original post. Lesson - ALWAYS quote original post in replies in case it disappears, or it looks like the initial responder was the original poster :shock: :roll:
