Screen Change when returning from viewed link

Several times when I have brought up a link referenced in a post, in to a new tab, when I exit the tab, TubeNet reloads in to a much smaller font. It I increase the font to a readable size, the entire page becomes larger than my screen and I have to scroll sideways to read it. Why? How do I stop this without rebooting the browser?
