Tubenet locks up at 1:AM west coast time?

If I even go onto tubenet later than 1AM here none of the pages will load. Is that just a down time for tubenet or what?

I find TubeNet often goes dead on me at about 9am GMT which I guess is the same time?

It is usually just for a few minutes. I have assumed some system maintenance must take place at that time?

It's a practice I adopted when crossing the seemingly endles miles of New Mexico highways. You could drive for hours on the routes I took before you'd come to a place where you could get something drinkable.
