Sean,
Username of 'TubaHaynes' has scammed several folks out of money. He was reported to have advertised sheet music for sale and never came through. FYI.

Schlep, you da man. Thanks for looking out for the community. I'm out $32 bucks on this one. In the future, I'm going to have to do background on people's usernames (search posts, length of membership, etc) before I trust someone. Geez, what a loser to scam tuba players!!!
Must be a sign of lean times when the Ponzi schemes filter down to the back row.

I would still trust most everyone on TubeNet. Now, if I were to scam anyone, it would be for a lot more than $32. Gotta make things worthwhile, you know.

It might not be a scam in the traditional sense, but this fellow has never come through with sending music after several people sent him money. I waited over a month - nuthin. That being said, maybe one day next week I'd be surprised to find the said music in my mailbox but I doubt it. I went ahead and spent $20 to do a stopped check with my bank so I didn't lose all of the $34 I sent.
I still love the folks on Tubenet and trust most everyone; I might be a bit reluctant to sent $ to someone that has only done 2-3 posts in the future.
