I just spent almost 45 min. typing a reply to the post "Music Educators." Then, when I went to preview it, I was prompted to log on again. I did log on before I began the reply. Now it appears that I lost my post. This has happened to me before, but this being my longest reply, makes it extremely annoying to lose it. It was good too, and I don't feel like typing it again. I don't know how some of you guys can write so much. Not that I don't enjoy reading all of it. So, what did I do wrong (again)? Can I recover my lost post?

My guess is that when you log in you are not checking the box to stay logged in. If you don't check that box then your login will expire after a predetermined time. To prevent this perhaps you could instead check the box and stay logged in. When you are done with TubeNet then click Log out.
This is just a guess based on what I know about the forum software.

Or, compose your messages in MS-Word and then cut and paste onto the board. This has the added advantage of spell check. I don't bother for short posts, but it's worth it for long rants.

This kind of thing happens everywhere! Totally blows. The only thing I suggest is just copy everything before you hit "send".
Sometimes, the message isn't even that long. I typically have a habit where I automatically copy it before I try to post it.
