Things have been weird here, as of late, that's for sure! Neptune has a poll up that was moved from the general TubeNet thread to the Sponsors and now us regular people can't respond to it.

And I haven't seen your banner, yet...

Just noticed that the thread has been moved back to TubeNet.
Don't now what's up with Dan's ads though.

There are other missing banners, too, such as Baltimore Brass. I have no idea if they are paid up or not, but their ad is gone from the rotation and the sponsor's page.

My banner is working again. It's happened before. My campaign runs monthly and sometimes the renewal must get to Sean late. Not a big deal but a little alarming. In my opinion... TubeNet continues to be a premier forum.

Back to the original question, the mice are starting to feel they can play with impunity. They're pretty much right at the moment.

Only The Shadowknows!

The mice might be sneaking in but, they don't last too long and Trump Tubas certainly didn't set a record for hanging around.

Schlepp tells me he still pokes his head in every now and then to clean things up. He feels he can't just walk out and leave it cold turkey until Sean gets someone else lined up. This is especially true, given the recent onslaught of spammers. He's not accepting PMs or e-mails through TubeNet and he refuses to trim any posts anyone makes then has 2nd thoughts about. I reckon that means some people better give careful thought to what they post.

I've tried several times to purchase a sponsorship here over the years but have never gotten a response. I'd like to advertise, but don't know if I'm intentionally being ignored or accidentally.

Schlepp and I have been collaborating on a new board. It's hosted by some service that doesn't charge any user fees and claims to be advertisement free and user registration is free as well. We haven't been too eager to tell others about it as it's a major learning curve for both of us. We think we've got it set up just about the way we want it now and we've been waiting on search engines to direct people to our board. The only people it's been attracting so far has been 2 Russian spammers, whom I deleted as soon as they registered. Nobody's getting in unless I personally approve them. I also lifted the size limit for image posting. So far, Schlepp's uploaded about 32 pics and he hasn't had any messages about exceeding bandwidth. And I've not received any notifications from the hosting service either (they don't even monitor their own support board). So hosting is free, registration is free and it's ad free (so far). And as such, I won't be charging any sponsorship fees. Admittedly, it's a cookie-cutter copy of TubeNet, but with a few enhancements. If it takes off, that's fine. If it flops, that's fine too. It's not costing me a cent to keep it up and I'm not making anything off of it. If you're interested in it, it's called LowBrassKraftz.

Um...I attempted to register using my iPhone. Filled in all requested info except the confirmation code. None appeared even after hitting the "refesh" button several times.

I have no idea. I don't use an I-phone, thus I don't know what needs to be done to make it work. Combined with the fact that this new board is totally different to me than any other board I've worked on. You may just have to do it from a PC, but I'll go back in and take another look.
