Thank you for working on this, Mark. It looks like these spammers are not going to be stopped by settings, though. We have two new ones with more than thirty posts between them since you posted this.

BTW, I wanted people to know that the best way to flag me down right away is to PM me. I get a notice straight to my phone if I get a PM here. I want to say I'd get to an issue within an hour but at least within 12 hours (in case I'm buried at work).

ZOMG! ALL THE SPAM ALL THE TIME. Dude, I just deleted/banned 75 spam accounts from 5 or 10 different IPs. I'm thinking about just deleting them outright period if they don't answer the question or bother to post in the new users forum.
