Request an important FAQ or FYI Stickie in "For Sale"

Would it be possible to set up a locked note in the For Sale section that people who have recently joined should go through before searching and posting? To cover things like "Please Check the Date of any For Sale Posts to make sure you're not trying to answer an ad from 6 years ago"?
It may be a pet peeve, but I continually see posts where a new member will post "Is this still for sale?" on stuff that has been sold for 2, 3, or even 7 years!
Granted, this assumes that any poster will actually 'RTFM.' But you can't go wrong if we at least post some general helpful guidelines.
