Email for new PM not working

I used to get an email when I get a new PM. That has stopped working for me now... Anyone else?

Me, too. Didn't realize it until today and started looking into it. Also, when people elect to email through the board, it isn't happening.

The last notification email I received for a PM was in early December and I've received a couple dozen PM's since then. I didn't notice because I was looking into the board a bit more frequently and the lack of emails just didn't break my consciousness.

Maybe phpBB has a support number or something. It would have to come from one of the Chishams
Make sure the outgoing SMTP mail server settings are correct in the admin settings. If that SMTP server has stopped working, the board software won't succeed in sending email to anyone, and it may fail without notice.

I'd say delete your cookies. I have no idea if that should work or not. What happened is the people who activate and approve accounts were receiving hundreds of emails so I was trying to figure out a way to keep that from happening BUT then it turned off all of them.

So, delete your cookies and/or check your personal settings.
