Hi Admins,

First, thank you for all the work you put in to this site. It continues to be an invaluable tool for me when it comes to buying/selling and for reading about all sorts of tuba randomness and I really appreciate all the work ya'll do and the effort to make the site more inclusive and a safe space for everyone of the past few months.

Curious why the decision was made to disallow people from editing their posts/title of posts. This was a useful feature for updating prices in the titles of posts for price reductions for slow moving items and also to keep lists of multiple items consolidated into a single post up to date for folks selling multiple items at a time (bulk mouthpieces for sale posts for example).

Please consider adding this feature back, if no where else, at least to the items for sale forum - I think most folks had adopted a pretty good etiquette for keeping posts accurate and up to date using this edit feature and it would be great to get it back,

Thanks!
John

I agree that buy/sell boards should be allowed to edit their posts, even if just the OP. I don't know if there is way to implement a publicly-visible "history" of the versions of a post (to detect malicious edits or to see why something was edited), but that would be a good step towards solving the issue that edits posed in the first place.

Hopping on board here, I tried to mark 2 posts as sold a d couldn’t. Instead, I ending up inadvertently bumping my sold items. Please fix, thanks!
