I prefer my houseboat or even a sailboat for an inspiring diggs. A metal airplane would be cold and a stairwell would be required to climb in and out of the thing.
Since last years hurricanes there are many live-aboard boats for sale cheap around here.

There is a restaurant near Bogor, Indonesia, which includes an old B-17 placed, precariously, as a bridge over the main highway to Puncak. Suspended by cords (made of what, who knows?) and connected to buildings by ramps on either side of the highway, it is a favorite stopping place for families who have gone to Taman Safari, one of the worst drive-in zoos in the world!

This is a pretty cool webpage and you can buy almost anything... Unfortunatley, you are 100% responsible for shipping. They don't package anything for you and you must deal with a third party to pick-up the item, package it and then ship. My advise if your thinking of buying something is to search bases that are local to you so you can physically pick-up the item yourself...

As for Boeing 707's I'm pretty sure you're on your own... :D
