Conn CL-2000 Rotor System

Post by Dan Schultz »

I know, I know... this IS a tuba forum. Nontheless, I know some of you double on trombone and there are also a couple of repairmen on the forum. What's your opinion of the 'New' Conn CL-2000 rotor system? I've had a couple 88-H's with the 'new' valves in the shop because the rotors were sticking. I can't find anything wrong except maybe a little grit got into the valve. They seem to work fine when they are clean.... at least for a while! Watcha think?
