If his hairstyle was really all that bad, then surely some of the kids at school would be ripping on him for it. If they aren't, perhaps the kids at his school do think it's cool (who knows what kids are thinking these days).
I definitely wouldn't say anything to him about it. I completely tuned my parents out when it came anywhere close to fashion advice.
The best thing you could do is perhaps talk to one of his friends (whom you are somewhat close to) to see what they think about it.
Another option is to get him an appointment at the local barber shop and get them to convince him he needs a change (he might accept it from a hair professional).
O wad some poower the giftie gie us...

What's the problem here? Does he want to play (gasp!) trumpet, too?
(besides, may just be an authority thing. We all went through it. The more it bothers you, the more he'll like it...

Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

Agreed, show your solidarity with him and he'll have a buzz cut in nothing flat. Here are some ideas:windshieldbug wrote:What's the problem here? Does he want to play (gasp!) trumpet, too?![]()

Brush his hair 100 times before he goes to bed.
Buy him a scrunchy as a spur-of-the-moment gift.
Suggest that you spend an afternoon together braiding each other's hair.
Offer to pay for extensions.
