One thing you do not do in Italy is take an Italian opera LIGHTLY!

(Or react lightly. Hey- he could've give the audience the one-armed salute!)

Who said that the best audience is an informed audience? :shock:
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

...especially when you're paying $2,000 for a ticket. (That'll buy a lot of CDs!) :shock:

...and it wasn't the "middle" of the performance either--it was his first aria; only a few minutes into the opera. :(
