I heard on the radio that folks are bow fishing the flying carp. They attach a tether to the arrow to reel it back in. I guess the old days of a peaceful quiet day out on the water sitting in the boat are gone.

Current 'stable'... Rudolf Meinl 5/4, Marzan (by Willson) euph, King 2341, Alphorn, and other strange stuff.
I never fish but I have had mullet,croaker and the occasional shrimp jump into my boat. It's not too bad unless they hit you or (yuk) you come down to the boat after they have been laying in there for a few days.
