Who has had success with running Linux on their iPod? I'm trying to do that with the installer that this site has given me, but the installer hasn't really worked all the way...
Thanks

You should give rockbox a try: http://www.rockbox.org/
I have it running on my Toshiba Gigabeat, and it's amazing, I can play Doom. It also allows the player to be treated like a mass-storage device so you can just drag and drop your music onto it.
