i saw the show Texas Country Reporter TV show and it was awesome. Bob Fisher makes a 4 string wash tub string bass that not only looks good but sounds good. this is a really decent sounding plywood top bass.

after reading on his site he said where he got the directions and diagrams on how to make a washtub bass on this site
