My Young Life Has Ended

Post by Chuck Jackson »

I am now firmly ensconced in middle age. I have fought being 44 for, well months now, and have just realized that there is no hope. And what, may you ask, is the reason?:

I JUST SAW ROGER DALTREY DOING AN INFOMERCIAL.

Help me, please, help me find my mis-spent youth, ah the horror, the horror........................

Who :) did you say?

What was the informercial for? A set of chinese cutlery? Yet another exercise machine? A juicer? An acne product?

Growing old's a bitch, ain't it?

Ha! Ha!

It is an infomercial for a Time-Life (I think) set of rock-n-roll CDs. It is actually fun to watch.

Chuck, I don't believe you need to be ashamed of ordering the CDs. I saw the infomercial myself. I probably watched for a half hour, too. I didn't order the CDs, however. This is probably because I am just a cheap S__ __. If you like pop music from that time frame, it's pretty good stuff.

When I first read that, I though it was joke.

As to his commercial, I felt the same way when I say Chuck Norris do them.
The horror of it all.

Who's next, Steven Tyler?

the immortal Hugh Fitzcairn. He's also a pretty good clarinettist(yep, he did his own Clarinet playing in the series).
