That's what I use, although I'd LOVE to have the $ and learning time for Logic. I can't really justify it, though, either.cc_tuba_guy wrote:I recently downloaded an application called Audacity. It works really well and is either free or shareware. If $ is tight, I'd suggest getting that.
I've edited some rehearsal recordings with Audacity with no real problems, and the noise removal plugin is pretty darn useful.

Goldwave is another one that I have been trying. About $50 or you can download a full-function demo.

It's good to know that all that share-ware is out there for recording audio. Logic is best, but also quite expensive. It is well worth the bank. And don't be turned off by the complicated look of the screensets. It is actually quite easy to use. When I switched over from Digital Performer, I was up and running on Logic that day.

It's like that with any mixing board I've had to use. Well, maybe not easy enough for me to be somewhat proficient in a day's time, but they always look much more complicated than they really are.
Maybe if I can justify the expense (and maybe even have someone else foot the bill

300 bucks, as listed on the top of the page that you linked in your opening post for this thread.MellowSmokeMan wrote:How cheap is the Logic 7 upgrade?

EDIT: Oh, or did you mean how much Winston could get it for? I have no idea.
Sorry, that was a quick post!
