The saxophones aren't particularly sought after, so at least you shouldn't need to spend much money there. For some reason the ones I've seen (pictures of) usually looked pretty dire, lacquer may not have been very durable.

I think if I were going to get a crate of cheap, matching used student woodwinds, I'd look for Vito.

I had the distinct pleasure of studying acoustics with him when I was at UofM. Holy cow. learned more than I thought I was capable of ingesting/learning and then (gasp) actually using. He was a true educator.
