Years ago at a company meeting in Tulsa a particularly acidic mid manager was to give a talk on some aspect of sales. Since our company logo contains as eagle, the sales motto for the year was, "Soar Like an Eagle". He started his remarks by stating caustically, " It's sure hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by a bunch of turkeys." I forget which competitor he wound up with. Be careful how you phrase the turkey aspect of your wife's guests.TubaTinker wrote: host a bunch of turkeys!

I am fortunate to have a great job that feeds my family well, but music feeds my soul.

If the indians had turned the pilgrims onto a donkey instead of a turkey, we could all share a piece of ^$$ instead of turkey on thanksgiving.
We pronounce it Guf Coast
