I'll bet they shut school down too  4" - 1' drifts of snow in my yard with highs in the lower teens and windchills well below zero. You come visit me for a while Ken

I'd come visit you, Chad, if I knew my engine block wouldn't crack overnight...

Funny you mention that, I just had a block heater installed on my car this week. Now when I get home at night I plug the car in. This is a new concept for me, never heard of such things before

The last time it snowed and it stuck here was in 1973.
My wife and I walked out of this bar where I played into three inches of snow. A huge snowball fight ensued.
The country singer guy we worked for decided it was too dangerous for us to drive home and rented us a motel room nearby and sent a taxi out after pizza.
The next morning we drove home to Fairhope and the snow was still with us, all schools were closed and the kids were driving all over town with snowmen on the hoods of their cars. 8)
We pronounce it Guf Coast

It snowed at Al's house yesterday... about 2" it hasn't snowed at Al's house in December since 2000. Even the private schools Al's kids might have gone to are closed.
