Amazon is just an agent in this area.

The instruments are more than likely going to be shipped from Music123.com a.k.a. Woodwind and Brasswind.

Amazon is smart enough to know that they don't want to hold onto that type of inventory. Turn will not be fast enough to generate revenue. Instead, they get about a 5%-15% referral fee per click-through on sales generated by their website. Toys-R-Us has been doing this with Amazon.com for years, but it is much more transparent, because both ratailers have brands names to leverage.
