A buddy of mine just got back from "Voodoo Donuts" in Portland, where she sampled a glazed, raised maple donut with bacon on it. Did she bring me one? Noooooo.

I prefer the Krispy Kreme burger. Local minor league team has them at their games.

I made one of these on Sunday for a Superbowl party... Tasted every bit as good as you might imagine... hehe... I was one of only 3 brave souls that ate an entire slice... Too many people were scared of either having a heart attack, getting fat, or getting fat while having a heart attack... I may experiment with turkey sausage and/or turkey bacon the next time, so it will only be bad for me instead of terrible, but you only live once, so may just stick with good old fashioned pork...
This was only the thrid time I got a chance to use my new smoker... Picked up a Treager wood pellet smoker two weeks ago, and couldn't be happier... I know there is a smoker thread out there, so rather than derail this one, maybe I'll go there to talk about the smoker...

Here is another list of heart healthy foods, my favorite is the corn dog pizza. Who would have thought to try that combo?
