Howdy folks,
Every year we do a Faculty Music Revue at our school to raise money for our music scholarship program to help send kids to summer music camps. This year one of our students who is into photography took some great shots of the groups and I thought I would share them with you. He did a really super job as the pix are really great (considering what he had to work with! esentially a bunch of old guys pretend to be rock stars.)
We have a small concert band of about 20 faculty & staff that plays two or three tunes to start the night, then a faculty chorus. After that a few soloists perform. The highlight of the night is our own garage band, "The Faculty". What is really cool is that in all the groups we only have about 5 music faculty perform, all the rest is faculty and support staff from the school district. It is alot ofwork but also a gas to put on.

When you get to the site click on the faculty revue gallery and you can go through the thumbnails. On the second page are two pix of me playing my helicon on Mercy Mercy Mercy. We always do a jazz quintet with tuba on bass. fun stuff!
