We had 19 1/2" ending yesterday morning. The truckers had all the major highways blocked until this morning. I think the National Guard finally just shoved the behemoths off into the ditches!

Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas!

Us Hoosiers are very enterprising this time of year... we sell the snow to Kentuckians for landfill!

Hey Dan,

Send some of that snow out here to Oregon! The ski runs are pretty bare and could really use it.

Merry Christmas,
Chuck

IT'S SNOWING...

Congratulation, RA. Snow in Corpus Christi. No snow in San Antonio. Go figure. Since the weather service has kept records, it has never snowed on Christmas eve in San Antonio. The record is still good.

Who wouldda thunk it.....

No snow in Oregon, no snow in N. Georgia (and a high near 50 degrees), but snow in Texas. Gosh.

Send some o' dat snow to your east coast brethren, as well. 8)

The one's that get me are the "4WD jeep" owners...' thinkin' they can do anything - anywhere - anytime. We currently have solid/remelted ice everywhere ( and have had it now for about three days). I was driving just about absolutely as fast as I dared - about 20 on a main drag (6-lane US-70 from my store to my home...stopping at the grocery yesterday [12/24] to buy my 16-year-old son a birthday cake!!!). A jeep (_!_) passed me on the right going at least 30 if not faster. A half a block in front on me...45 seconds later...I watched jeepy wipe out and T-bone his butt into a telephone pole...
Everybody has four wheel stop. Only an idiot would think that four wheel drive confers an inherent ability to go faster than a two wheel driver. And it's the stopping that trips up those idiots every time.

We have zero snow... in NEW HAMPSHIRE... but it's snowing in Texas? That's not right.
