If you need a cake or other dessert for a very special occasion and live in the New York City area, I would like to recommend a good friend of mine, Hillary Beveridge.
She made the most amazing cake for our wedding. It was absolutely gorgeous to look at, as you'll see on her website. But, unlike many wedding cakes, the taste and texture was just phenomenal. Hillary graduated from the French Culinary Institute specializing in pastry.
