"Low tech" solution to prevent a rising water bill...shut off the water main whenever you don't need water. Inconvenient, but the price is right.

So... Wade, If I applied this success to instrument repair, do you think I could use plumbers tape to fill an ill-fitting ferrel and stop that air leak????
