How long does it usually take to get something shipped through USPS Parcel Post? I bought a tuba from KS, and it's taking almost two weeks for it to get here. Is this unusual? (never gotten anything through Parcel Post)
Thanks!

Re: Parcel Post
No, that's not unusual. Parcel Post is 4th-class mail. It moves only when everything else has already moved. At this time of year, two or three weeks is not unusual, depending on how far it has to go.UTSAtuba wrote:How long does it usually take to get something shipped through USPS Parcel Post? How did you get a tuba through USPS? They have a maximum length+girth of 120 inches. A typical tuba might need a box 24x30x46, which has a length+girth of 154 inches.

Combined length and girth is estimated at 85" (35x25x25).
