Do you enjoy Star Trek and would like to help a fellow tuba player out a bit?
I'm in a run-off election in a forum of a message board and could use some votes. It's free to sign up for the board a
nd some of you might even enjoy lurking around there. If you can help, please follow these instructions:
1. Go to http://www.trekbbs.com" target="_blank" target="_blank.
2. Click the "join us for f...
ree" link in the second paragraph.
3. Enter your date of birth.
4. Agree to the Trek BBS Rules (painless) - check the box and click "Register."
5. Select a username and password, enter an email contact, and answer a simple Trek trivia question. Select your time zone and click "Complete Registration."
6. Go to the email you specified and click on the link provided in your email from Trek BBS to finish the process.
7. You'll jump back to the Trek BBS where you get a confirmation message for your new account. Click on "User CP" in the upper left.
8. Click "Group Memberships" on the left.
9. Join "The Neutral Zone" by selecting the radio button and clicking on "Join Group."
10. Click on "The Trek BBS" in the upper left (the small link, not the huge letters at the very top of the page) to go into the Forums section.
11. Scroll down to "Lounges & General Chat" and click on "The Neutral Zone" to enter that forum.
12. Click on the thread titled "TNZ Denizens Election:Run-off"
13. Cast your vote for boobatuba!
That's it. At that point you can log off and never go there again if you want. You will not be bothered by any spam emails or notifications from that site unless you choose to be notified (the default is no notifications). However, I think if you enjoyed any of the television shows, movies (new or old), or even sci-fi in general you'll find lots of good information and interesting discussion topics at the Trek BBS.
If you have the time to do this, I would appreciate the help. Thanks!
