"Let There Be Praise" Accompaniment CDs / Tapes

Post by Conn 2J CC »

This request has got to be a long shot, but would anyone on this board happen to have accompaniment CDs or cassette tapes for the "Let There Be Praise" books published by Sparrow Corporation in the late 1980s? Naturally, all of the books, tapes and CDs from that series are now out of print. I've been searching for these recordings for months now, and have had no luck finding the accompaniment CDs or tapes on the Internet. And the only ones I've seen on eBay have been full demo versions with vocalists.

I have the C and Bb instrumental solo books for this series, plus the first of two accompaniment tapes. The accompaniment tape I have covers the first 12 songs of the series ("Let There Be Praise" thru "There is a Savior"). I'm trying to find the accompaniment recordings for the second 12 songs of the series ("Mighty Fortress" thru "Enter In"). Getting a copy of accompaniment tape #2 would be great, but getting both of the accompaniment CDs obviously would be even better.

My interest in finding these is due to the very nice quality of the arrangments by David Clydesdale, and the excellent accompaniment recordings made by the National Philharmonic Orchestra of London. My wife and I have used them for solo and duet accompaniments. If you've got the second accompaniment tape or either of the accompaniment CDs, please PM me. I'd really appreciate it, since my Internet search for these is going nowhere.

Thanks -

No, not that one. The one in your link above would be the full demo version with vocalists (which I've seen for sale regularly), not the accompaniment version. Thanks anyway, Todd.
