Valley Cottage NY

Post by bigboymusic »

Any of my fellow tubists familiar with Valley Cottage NY?

I sent a box containing two Holton French horns to a location there in May. After 3 weeks, the recipient claimed he had not received the instruments.

FedEx delivered them to the building in the Industrial Complex, but not that exact location. It was signed by a woman named 'olga', and thats the last I've heard of them. I don't want the $$ it may take a year or more to get, I really want my 179's back for my students!

If any one lives even remotely close, I would by you dinner to go to this complex and do some asking around. I am pretty well sick to my stomach every morning right now over this and FedEx is NOOOOO Help!

Thanks for any ideas other than me flying 1500 miles to do it myself!

Friend of mine lives in that town. Just sent them a screen shot of your message. I'll write again if they are able to check it out.

The company where my wife works is down the street from a Catholic school. By mistake, FedEx delivered two boxes of custom plastic rings with the school's logo on them. The lady who received them claimed she was "too busy" to send them back and it was FedEx's mistake anyway, not her's. So she made an announcement over the PA system that anyone who wanted some for their kids could come down and get a handful. My wife could not believe that, and was tempted to report the person (but to whom?) She also knew that she would ultimately be the one to get in trouble, not the person who kept the packages, based on how her company works.
These things happen every day :(
