messaging through tubenet

I'm told that I'm not the only one with these issues, so maybe this will help others
How about using tubenet messaging for an INITIAL contact, and then switching over to email (as most all email programs offer virtually unlimited web space, and only require one "click" to read the emails) ?

Can't you just turn off PM's and only accept emails? I thought that was an option, but I could be wrong.

I echo Joe's comments. I find it very unhandy to respond to personal messages and much prefer to be emailed. Within my email program... I can file emails any way I choose to or just delete them altogether.

I wasn't aware that the quantity of storage (here) could (simply) be expanded by adding more-and-more folders... Is that the case?

Yes. Notice how it says "FOLDER"... each folder can contain 150 messages. I have one folder that is full but a few others that are between 20-40% full, individually.

These new revelations are helpful but still doesn't eliminate having to maintain just another place to store emails.

I still prefer to use only Thunderbird for emails. I don't even keep emails on my phone. I forward them all to my computer. It's just a lot more convenient for me to do business in one place.

+1,000 - and not just on TubeNet. I find people at work participate in interminable e-mail threads when a short phone call would dismiss the issue. But it wouldn't leave a trail for CYA purposes which is what these folks are more interested in anyway.
