After prostatectomy?

I am faced with the prospect of choosing between various types of radiation or a prostatectomy for my cancerous prostate. My urologist has recommended a prostatectomy but I am concerned about some degree of incontinence following surgery. The urologist says it will be minimal to none, but he cannot say how the intra-abdominal pressure of playing brass instruments may exacerbate the problem.

I would like to hear anyone's personal experience following a prostatectomy, particularly as it relates to playing a wind instrument. Please PM me if you prefer not to answer on the forum.
