Yes.

We did a Star Clipper cruise from Barbados, Grenada, St Lucia, Martinique among others, for our tenth.

Then recently from Baltimore to Bermuda for our 15th.

It won't be another five years before we go again. :)

This past January... after a 'Windjammers' meet in Sarasota... we took a 7-day cruise out of Fort Lauderdale to some of the US Virgin Islands. I REALLY didn't like being on a ship with 3,000 other folks at the mercy of the elements and whatever else was brought on board ship.

I don't like flying these days, either.

But... that's just me in my old age. I doubt if there will be another cruise in my future.

Cruises are great! My wife and I have taken six cruises, the latest was this past summer on the NCL Getaway. Some of these ships are really a "Floating Hotels", not just a ship. One cruise about 20 years ago we took our two sons and they had their own state room. Our favorite was a cruise to Alaska.

We decided we can only go on 1-week cruises because we gain about 5# in just one week. A 2-week cruise would require extra luggage we think
Miraphone 5050 - Warburton BJ/RF mpc
YEP-641S (recently sold), DE mpc (102 rim; I-cup; I-9 shank)
Symphonic Band of the Palm Beaches:

Learn something new every day...

My only cruise experience was a high school graduation gift on Windjammer cruises out of Maine.

(http://www.mainewindjammercruises.com i believe)

I had a blast with my parents, and the crew let me help out in limited fashion with things like raising the anchor and coiling rope. But it is as far removed from the typical cruise experience as a hiking hut is from the typical hotel experience, which was all to the good for me at the time.

As such, and being surprised if they made it all the way down to Florida, i looked on the interwebs, and so i expect you mean Windjammers Unlimited (http://www.circusmusic.org)?

This also looks very much like something worth knowing about... Thank you for mentioning it!

Do kinda wish i had more light to shed on cruises (and i could have, as i'm pretty sure some of my family has tried 'em out, i just never joined 'em)
Thanks for playing!

Celebrity is worth the extra money for sure. The food is higher quality.
Less kids on board. The best way to describe the overall difference is to say Royal Caribbean has self serve ice milk in cones on the pool deck. Celebrity has real ice cream, 6 flavors every day on the same deck. It's just better in almost every way.
