I don't do FPS's, but I've been doing all sorts of RPG's for years now.

Way too much detail and geekness for me to bare on the Tubenet, however.

I might lose any respect I've gained :)

Leland,

I haven't played GT4, (in fact, haven't really played a GT game since GT2), but, if it's anything like GT2, do yourself this favor: do NOT, under any circumstances, listen to the music from the soundtrack in the game while actually driving. You will find yourself doing things you would have never thought you would do in your car.

Also, counterstrike, halflife, they're all good...I still prefer good ol' Unreal Tournament, any edition I can play.

Tim Murphy, who's favorite video game of all time remains to this day Mike Tyson's Punch Out.

Right now, I want to go driving. At the same time, I'm afraid to, because I might try doing exactly that. Van Halen's "Panama", which plays during the intro movie, makes me want to drive fast anyway.

Plus, I've gotten some songs from the Initial D anime, and those suckers aren't exactly conducive to relaxed driving, either.

There was one time when I was playing Extreme G (300-mph futuristic motorbikes with weapons) for a few hours, and when I got into my Civic, I wondered why the heck it was SO SLOW. Then I caught myself thinking, "Oh, I can bounce off that curb, no big deal..."

Looks like you answered your own question. I've been relegated to playing my favorite Nintendo games on the computer, via an emulator as of late. Not bad, except the controller I'm using is a Playstation layout.

Of course, one of these days, I'll spend the $26 and buy one of these:

On my Playstation 1,I enjoyed Gran Turismo 1 and 2.I have been driving for a long time and I have to say these games improved my driving. In modern day traffic, one rarely gets a chance to "drift" around corners but
in G.T.,I get to do that a lot in front and rear drive and mid-engined cars.
A couple of times here, recently I had to drift in a highway speed situation to avoid a collision. The techniques I learned in G.T. worked and served me well.
My grandson is almost old enough to justify my buying Playstation 2 and you better believe G.T.4 will soon be in my clutches. Whoopie do!

Hey guys. One of my buds just sent me this new game about a week ago. It's a free game you can download off the internet. Allmost all online, the onliny thing you don't do online is go thorugh basic training. Any body who like FPS's this is fun. You need about 700mb of Hard Drive space. Here is the link to download it. http://www.fileplanet.com/89806/80000/f ... ht)-v2.3.0 If you have never used File Plantet here is a crash corse. Hit download and it'll bring up a new page. Go down to the free download and select the one closest to your part of the U.S. You'll to wait in a line to donwload but it worth it. By the way, when the download gets to 99% your PC will really slow down. Allmost look like it is frozzen. SO I suggest leaveing the PC alone onece it gets to 90% and let it finish. Then istall the file and start playing.

Okay. A couple of things:

Starcraft is the best multiplayer game. Ever.

Black and White is sort of fun... but a similar-looking game from the same time called Citizen Kabuto is more worth checking out.

I haven't played PC games in forever, but whenever I get the chance to play the cube (pretty rare), I can't get enough Bloodrayne. Something about vampires fighting nazis. Fun... maybe a little weird... whatever.
