I was wondering what tuba forums you guys like to frequent.I always check tubenet first followed by the brass forum and then tuba news .com.
Also who are your favorite posters?

I check on Tubenet and TubaNews.
I like the former as it is a very active and fun to read forum.
Plus, it features a whole bunch of people who´ll help you out with your problems.
TubaNews offers great information as an internet magazine, and I think their databases on horns and auxiliary equipment has potential to it, because it may provide a quick reference to those "Has anybody tried the..?"-people.
I wonder why their forum seems to be rarely frequented, though, especially on the side of active posters. When you search the "Discuss Articles"- or "Older threads"- forum you´ll find some inspired conversations where people do have things to say.
As far as favorite posters go: I don´t know, there are quite a few people putting lots of thought and consideration in what they post, and I don´t think it´ll be fair to rank those.

If you ask for people´s favorite THREADS, though, I like those related to technical issues and unusual horns, reports on fancy restoration work (great pics!!), and discussions on the musical role we tubists play.
Reading about how to tackle difficult pieces or playing techniques is very interesting, too.
