The same way some of the Chinese crap can be marketed as 'German engineered'.

I know of at least one company that sells Chinese saxes with 'Paris Selmer' engraved on the bell.

I saw a listing recently that pictured what us a super cheap tuba that was supposedly made by Schreiber/Keilworth.

Can't trust the old names anymore.
