Just stepping out of the shadows, so...Hi!
Hi there TubeNet. Just another amateur tubist here. I've had an account here for ever. Pretty much just used it to buy stuff. I enjoy all your collective knowledge, and sense I've been using it, figured I should introduce myself. And this way I won't feel like an odd ball whenever I do decide to join a conversation. I look forward to joining you guys, and continuing to learn, and grow. And of course, continue to buy stuff

I assumed that was a prerequisite ...

But if everybody else here is an eccentric wouldn't that mean that the non-eccentric is really the odd ball of the group?Donn wrote:OK, maybe you can be the one person here who is not an odd ball.Steve C wrote:And this way I won't feel like an odd ball whenever I do decide to join a conversation.

Don't you see me standing in the shadow of love
Just tryin' my best to get ready for the heartaches to come

I don't think that's a sound analysis, but my main objection is that participation in a tuba bulletin board is ipso facto evidence that one is not normal.tofu wrote:But if everybody else here is an eccentric wouldn't that mean that the non-eccentric is really the odd ball of the group?

Doubt we could agree on what "normal" is!Donn wrote:I don't think that's a sound analysis, but my main objection is that participation in a tuba bulletin board is ipso facto evidence that one is not normal.tofu wrote:But if everybody else here is an eccentric wouldn't that mean that the non-eccentric is really the odd ball of the group?

I can assure you absolutely that no one who knows me thinks I am normal in any way whatsoever except perhaps in appearance. Unless holding a tuba, of course, in which case the abnormal comes to the fore again.
