Just stepping out of the shadows, so...Hi!

Post by Steve C »

Hi there TubeNet. Just another amateur tubist here. I've had an account here for ever. Pretty much just used it to buy stuff. I enjoy all your collective knowledge, and sense I've been using it, figured I should introduce myself. And this way I won't feel like an odd ball whenever I do decide to join a conversation. I look forward to joining you guys, and continuing to learn, and grow. And of course, continue to buy stuff

OK, maybe you can be the one person here who is not an odd ball.

I assumed that was a prerequisite ...

But if everybody else here is an eccentric wouldn't that mean that the non-eccentric is really the odd ball of the group?

I don't think that's a sound analysis, but my main objection is that participation in a tuba bulletin board is ipso facto evidence that one is not normal.

Doubt we could agree on what "normal" is!

I can assure you absolutely that no one who knows me thinks I am normal in any way whatsoever except perhaps in appearance. Unless holding a tuba, of course, in which case the abnormal comes to the fore again.
