Winter Preps
31 lbs of what will be pulled pork in 12 more hours. Cheap, uninsulated smoker won't maintain temp in another week or two as the weather turns. Here's to hoping it lasts the winter!

Re: Winter Preps
I read "weather turns..." and thought, come on, it's barely September. Then I checked the weather and remembered, oh yeah, this is Minnesota. Going to take a long time to get used to that!

Re: Winter Preps
Good one. January thaw won't happen until April, late March if we're lucky. Won't be until mid-May when I can use the smoker again.alfredr wrote:Plan B: January thaw?
