Interesting. I "presume" the dog heard the baby's cries and associated it with puppy cries. But Go Dog, anyway!

Also interesting is that the baby was being wet-nursed by someone else in the hospital, having been put in the room with a mother and another baby.

Here....NO WAY. She would be given formula and isolated in some kind of plastic tent. No where near as well off.

It is slowly becoming known that babies need exposure to "germs" and "dirt" for their immune systems to develop properly. We could learn a lot from the dog mothers of the world, also, because they go and pick up their crying babies.

Based on a dog's performance, it might be prudent to fire the entire Florida DCF and replace it with a pack of Golden Retrievers. Or offer to retain the current staff in exchange for kibble and shots:
