Lol. The few paying gigs I have would dry up because I'm not proficient enough to handle a BAT in quintet and I already see the hand more than I'd like with my 2155 in large ensembles. The BATs still call to me when I see them on the board- the 2165, the PCK......

Thanks Bloke! Replacing the tuba may be the easy part. The wife was in the car at the same time and she got the worst of it. Several broken ribs, couple of compression fractures in her back. Long road to recovery but she is getting better. Saw her stand up yesterday for the first time since the accident. Our tubas can be replaced, our loved ones cannot.
