Hi-
While browsing, I noticed this on the website of Tuba Exchange:
"Beginning May 2019, the Trump Administration announced a TARIFF of 25% on a selected list of products. This tariff will go into effect June 1st, 2019. The Tuba exchange is again directly affected, but only for the ABS cases and our gig bags. We had already been affected in the first round of 10% Tariffs on these goods, but we decided to absorb this Tariff ourselves.
As it stands now, the increase in Tariffs for these cases and import duties (now at 4.2%) will increase our costs by $35.00 per case. This increase will go into effect with all new orders effective June 1st. Existing orders are exempt from this increase. We apologize for this necessary price increase."
Any other low brass stores increasing costs due to Tariffs?
Mark

Not posted for any political reason...just first time I had seen this from a music store and was curious if others are to follow...
