I received an obscene phone call. From a female. At 8:14. On a Saturday. With my family in the room.

Needless to say, I hung up. Mainly because I don't find the local speech affect all that "sexy". :lol:

Re-update:

After talking with the mechanic I'm going to replace the single muffler with a glass pack and a larger pipe to increase the airflow which will in turn increase the power and the MPG even if only a minor bit. Plus, it'll still sound cool :mrgreen:

My oboe studies are going well; I finally made a commitment (instead of just "experimenting") to it and started slogging through Barret's finger pattern exercises. And I do mean slogging; at my age (60 next week, eeeeeeeeek...) finger patterns take longer to settle in than they did when I was, oh, 20. But I feel I'm making good progress....have a great teacher; a great instrument; probably too much drive; and I realize that I will be absolutely toast unless I can become an expert reed maker. Now, those things are just really, really picky. I learned not to try to make a reed after drinking a 20 oz Coke. Shaking hands and very sharp knives do not go together well.

A weekend of laying landscaping blocks(600) for the Missus' 3 new flower beds has convinced me that I am not as young as I used to be. I am sore in places that I didn't know I had.
I am fortunate to have a great job that feeds my family well, but music feeds my soul.
