Well I finally have a picture of myself to share. This was taken before our "Best of America" concert this past Saturday, May 13th. It was our final concert of the season and we were warming up with guest conductor Maestro Loras Schissel.
It was a great patriotic concert where we played "Victory at Sea" along with numerous marches (Loras Schissel is a Sousa expert). I had a featured solo playing Stephen Foster's "Gentle Annie" (edited by Loras Schissel) which went well. There were some damp eyes in the audience after our performance of "Victory at Sea".
This was our second year having Maestro Loras Schissel as our guest conductor. GREAT experience for both musicians and audience having him lead us. Schissel is the music director of Cleveland Winds and co-founder and director of the Virginia Grand Military Band.

Now I'm going to have to find my High School photo from my graduation in 1974. I sure as heck didn't wear a tie like that, but I did have longer hair than that!LoyalTubist wrote:I found my old high school senior picture (taken on my 17th birthday in 1974, I graduated in 1975). I don't mean to glare anyone, but here goes:
