22 months after the initial submission, a manuscript of mine has finally been accepted for publication. Several rounds with the associate editor made it better but damn, that was a pain in the ***.

I'll be working remotely full-time, but will get regular trips (and an open option to relocate) to Hollywood, Florida. Any south Florida people out there?

It is taking every ounce of strength I have to NOT reply to bloke's mike lewis post.

Unfortunately, thus is life, he says not to reply, so it makes the urge oh so much stronger; even if I have nothing to contribute to his post.

Who is Mike Lewis? Where is bloke's post? Why are you not supposed to reply to it? Why is blue Bell Dutch Chocolate so superior to all other chocolate ice creams? Can my haircut be fixed?

I'm celebrating the loss of 15 pounds.

How? I am rewarding myself with

1. Breakfast at "Fat Nats Eggs" which serves omelets the size of my head (and I have a huge mellon, so that says a lot).

2. Lunch at Five Guys. My first five guys experience, gotta check out the hype.

3. Dinner, good, somewhere.

4. Fourth meal at Taco Bell. One of those places that I crave endlessly, then leave saying... what, why the heck did I do that?

I'm drinking my morning coffee and posted this with the intention of only increasing my post count. Yes, I realize this sounds like an alcoholic rewarding himself with a drink... but hey, i'm hungry!
