This topic is making me feel really old. Not only do I not have a myspace, I have no desire whatsoever to have one. Whatever will I do?

Sorry, you obviously have a life! :D
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

mine is: www.myspace.com/euphba

I found a fake brian bowman profile that is kinda lame, but you can have bowman on your friends list:

www.myspace.com/brianlbowman

It's lame like adding your favourite composer, but whatever

I considered myself successful when I was able to block both MySpace and FaceBook from my router this summer. This way my college aged son does not waste his time or give ideas to my preteen.

I think the obsession with video gaming has moved quite a bit to obsession with MySpace. It can be very useful --- it can be a total waste of time --- whatever one makes of it.

As for my "MySpace" - not yet - but one never knows if the bug will bite me. I have to admit I have a username - just not a site (had to do a bit of research in finding my kids' site)

I'll post if I build a site. I need to find time to waste javascript:emoticon('')

Whoa whoa whoa. Dont' be attacking video gamers now. I have to say that MySpace has not made me any less addicted to video games.

Afterall, MySpace is a form of communcating with others and developing relationships.

That's death to true video gamers!

I don't even know what myspace is. My impression is that it's individual web pages behind a content management system for people who don't actually know how to do their own web sites. Basically aimed at the same generation that share their cell phone conversations and private lives with everyone within earshot.
